My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I first heard of Beta 5 through Instagram, previously mentioned here. My initial thoughts were too sweet, but after having a try of the other flavours I'm hooked. So far my top pick is the banana cream, milk chocolate ganache, salted caramel and s'more. I didn't try the coconut and passion myself, so I can't vouch for the taste. However, I did try the vanilla and would pass as it tasted quite bland.

If you want to try an upgrade to Beard Papa's definitely check out Beta 5. I would call ahead and reserve as I've stopped by before to find they were completely sold out. :(

Ti Style Deluxe Sleepin-in Roller Set $12.99 compared to $24

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Being a new mom I have little time to pamper myself let alone get my hair done. So if I can find any quick and easy styles I'm all for it. 

I used to wear those foam sleep in rollers, back in the day.  You know, these ones...(I know eek!) I swear they work though! For now though I was looking for more of a relaxed curl. While this set doesn't hold the curl long, I do appreciate the volume it gives. What I'm not a fan of is; they're not as comfy to sleep on and the old man kept saying I made crunchy noises(it's from the velcro). For $12.99 though I don't mind keeping the old man up:) 

This set comes with 8 medium size and 8 large size velcro rollers, along with 20 pins, a comb and a drawstring bag to hold it all in.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I had just received the email Sunday morning and stopped by in the afternoon. To my surprise there were shelves completely bare and of course haphazard sections. There was a constant line up and the children's area was unrecognizable. Nonetheless I managed to pick up some great finds during my time there.

Recommendations:

Bring a friend - either to wait in line while you shop/vice versa. Also to divide and conquer!

Hydration - it is boiling hot in there and way to many humans breathing with no aircon. Do yourself a favour and bring water. Or a portable fan:) both is even better!

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I had my roots dyed the other day. And since it was my birthday I wanted to dress up my fresh from the salon hair . I left with it wet and air dried, I call it my new mom's style lol. Bad mistake, or should I say rookie! It was sunny that day, and I did not foresee it being that hot. I ended up sweating on my brand new twilly and transferring the colour :"(
I called the next day to Fletchers (my usual place and they couldn't do it) and another DT dry cleaner before settling with Kerrisdale Cleaners. I'm happy to report, as you can see the stain came out! Saved me from buying a new one! I've used them before to launder clothing and jackets but nothing with stains so those were an easy job. I'll now be taking all my hard to get rid of stains to Kerrisdale Cleaners! Highly recommend!

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. You all know my love for Winners. Here's what I recently found at the Winners/Homesense location on Lougheed. I was searching for a comfy pant other than leggings and spotted this inspiration pic of Kristin. These are elastic so they're perfect for now and after I loose the last stubborn pounds, and return to my pre-pregnancy weight.
