Real Techniques Setting Brush

One of Kim Kardashian's makeup artists Mario recommended Eye M Glam by Giella as a highlighter and since my holy grail highlighter from Dior is now discontinued I've been on the hunt. I ordered one for myself and my girlfriend(ordering 1 just didn't make sense with the $25 shipping to Canada). 

I also spotted the RT setting brush on Jade's IG, and ordered that from Amazon. 

Readers have you tried either of these? Thoughts?

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Reunited and it feels soooo good! I purchased Giddy back in the day only to find out it got discontinued in North America(was available in Singapore I believe). Fast forward to 2014, and it's finally here! I purchased a backup, I love it that much! Described as lightheaded pink shimmered with gold, it's a perfect pink for everyday. I wear this alone, or with my holy grail lipgloss from Beaute.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I recently ordered these in my last Sephora VIB haul, and couldn't wait to try it. Jaclyn has a video up using it and I've tried it with her recommendation (texture from MAC). I've also tried it with texture and saddle(MAC) for a more intense look and switched up saddle for Chanel Ombre Contraste Eyeshadow Duo in Sable(my Holy Grail, I have backups!). Also Jaclyn is right, there is a lot of fall out from the eyeshadow, so beware! Lastly, I use the kitten smudge stick for a pop in the inner corner, it lasts forever! I also swatched it as a primer and eyeshadow on top, and it lasted the full day! 

Don't mind the messy shadow, what can I say, it's well loved!

I have been on a hunt for a natural highlighter and spotted the Hourglass Ambient Light reviews on The Beauty Lookbook...

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. It is as Sabrina says! I too agree this makes a lovely highlighter. I find it perfect for day, I run this along the cheekbones, down the bridge of the nose and cupids bow. For eyebrow highlight I use MAC Shroom (holy grail status for inner tearduct and eyebrow highlight pour moi.)
For night though, I prefer to amp up the cheekbones with another holy grail, Dior Amber Diamond.

Still the product junkie in me craves the search and I'm still on the hunt for another highlighter that blows these outta the park...
