Recent Finds...Yarok

Feed Your Sunshine
Lovely Samples and $15 Coupon

I've recently coloured my hair and was seeking a Shampoo and Conditioner that would treat and nourish my hair without stripping the colour. I googled top haircare products and most sites recommended Keratase. Having tried Keratase previously and not been impressed, I sought after natural hair care that worked for colour treated hair.
One woman who has phenomenal hair is Melania Trump. Sure enough I googled and found she uses Yarok. While the Feed Your Sunshine states it's ok to use on colour treated hair, the shampoo and conditioner are more for volume. I purchased mine from Hip Apotheca, found a coupon code for 15% off online and ordered. Immediately after I received a confirmation email and delivery email. I could not be more happy with the customer service, highly recommend.

* update; the shampoo and conditioner is great if you don't have colour treated hair, gives great volume but unfortunately for me it stripped off colour
The shampoo lathers beautifully and the smell is quite pleasant (think citrusy). The conditioner does not have the same scent, but thankfully it dissipates once hair is dry...
- I haven't tried the serum, hold or volume mousse yet, will update soon...

Cameo Necklace (old, similar)
Burberry Puffy Jacket (not seen, in black)
View from E 8, 9, VIP seats have a swivel table and armrest that lifts up...
You can order food from your seat, and enjoy it there

As for the movie, we saw The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn 2. I was expecting to see some surprises, but happily it wasn't too far from the book...If you got money to burn, enjoy it in VIP...

Tatcha Aburatorigami...

Blotting Papers...
40 Sheets
That's $0.41 each!

My Verdict: Pass. I must confess I bought into the hype..."Charcoal blotting papers said to expel smells, kill bacteria and improve health of facial and body skin." Kyo-Blotting Paper with Chikutan, bamboo charcoal.
I saw Tatcha mentioned in a magazine I was perusing and decided to try it out...
I purchased this whilst on my LA trip and used it the first day after the long flight/travel. You can imagine how grease monkey I looked, so it was a perfect opportunity. It absorbed the oil, but when I saw my fingers I was sooo disgusted! The oil had transferred on to my fingertips! So thank you, but no thank you I will go back to Clean and Clear.
For the price of 1 Tatcha you can get 2-3 packages of C&C(in Canada, depends on sale or not)! And if you're lucky I've heard you can score them for $1 each in Asia!

50 Sheets
That's $0.10 each! (as per the link)

* side note, if I do ever get a chance to travel to Japan I will most definitely try charcoal blotting papers again along with other Japanese cosmetics and skincare...

Alessandro LAC Sensation...

Rich & Royal on ring finger
Sinful on rest

A mani I did a few weeks ago...lasted for 2.5 weeks(I could have pushed it to 3, but I got bored...)
Alessandro LAC Sensation=semi-permanent polish. Needs a UV lamp to cure!
So far loving the product...but too many to colors choose from! I've become indecisive...
Will post more pics in future of the colors I did decide on:)

Josie Maran...Whipped Argan Oil Body Butter

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I have major dry skin, comparable to crocodiles. Was in search for a deeply moisturizing cream that absorbed quickly. I originally sought out the argan balm, and asked for a sample the last time I was at Sephora. It's a good thing I did, I felt it didn't absorb as quickly into the skin and left a shiny residue. I would compare the argan balm to Egyptian Magic. Same consistency, same uses and same texture.

Highly recommend going into Sephora to try the sample.

Hermes Sale 2012...Vancouver

Started yesterday until Sunday November 18, 2012...

My girlfriend and I arrived about 10 minutes early and left to grab hot chocolate and palmiers at Thierry. 5 minutes later there was a short line up, and we were one of the first to enter.

Items included in the sale:

There was a full table of leather gloves when we arrived, and when we left at 10:30 the majority were gone.
Many hats were available, along with ready to wear, boots and shoes.
We each picked up a swimsuit at 50% off.
Came with dust bag...
We didn't have to worry about any snags or defects, which I've heard the sales in Paris are full of. Nevertheless, it doesn't hurt to have a good look over what you're purchasing.

For next year if you're into any of the above, I suggest arriving early to get first dibs. 10 minutes before open is ample time...

* All sales are final, and they don't do holds.

On a side note we're looking into a trip for the Paris Sale! Why not at least once in this lifetime, right?
Readers if you have any suggestions of where to stay and what to do that would be greatly appreciated!

Happy Shopping!
