My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Rated #2 Traveller's Choice 2013 Top Hotels for Romance in Canada by Trip Advisor, and I couldn't agree more. The highlight for me was definitely the food. The room and spa weren't stand outs for me, but the food made the Brentwood Bay something worthy to return too. Nestled in Brentwood Bay, a short 20 min drive from the ferry (take the back road to McTavish then straight down East Saanich to West Saanich), 30 + min drive to downtown Victoria and the bustling city life. If you're looking for a relaxing, impeccable customer service, and dreamworthy food experience with the option for city excursions I highly recommend the BBR&S!
* we also were able to tour 2 castles and highly recommend if you have a few hours to spare...
* Hatley Castle had classes in session, but we were still able to peak inside and take a look at the museum and gift shop

My girlfriend and I had booked this trip a few months ago thinking it would have been right around sale season. Alas, we were one week early! Sale season doesn't start until American Thanksgiving, then crazyiness on Black Friday November 23!
