Just a side note; in my last post I mentioned I was going to order the Koh Gen Do illuminator, but after swatching it decided to return as I found it too sparkly for daytime wear. (Got the GA fluid sheer instead)

With that order I got the limited edition Beauty Blender and Benefit kit, which has now sold out.

No biggie though, I saved oodles as this was on clearance for $14.99 and it gets the job done!

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I spotted the J Crew tote on Instagram and immediately set out to get my hands on one, only to find it sold out. Disappointed I let it to go, but not before calling the online # and putting a request in to be notified if it comes back lol.  Weeks later I spotted the Old Navy one on IG and popped by my local store. Luckily I found it and it was on clearance, score!

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I recently received my order from Hautelook and ended up keeping just the necklace. The jeans didn't work out so back they went. As for the necklace, the picture doesn't do it justice. In real life it sparkles quite a bit(Swarovski stones)  and is rose gold plated(marking is 925 as well). Price wasn't too bad, so another success story for Hautelook.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Another great find from Winners this past weekend. It seems I have the best luck at the Park Royal location. It's my go to for designer pieces. I also find many baby items at great prices. Check it out before you pop by Babies R Us.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I had just received the email Sunday morning and stopped by in the afternoon. To my surprise there were shelves completely bare and of course haphazard sections. There was a constant line up and the children's area was unrecognizable. Nonetheless I managed to pick up some great finds during my time there.

Recommendations:

Bring a friend - either to wait in line while you shop/vice versa. Also to divide and conquer!

Hydration - it is boiling hot in there and way to many humans breathing with no aircon. Do yourself a favour and bring water. Or a portable fan:) both is even better!

While killing time at the mall recently, I stumbled upon a great find!

Below the knee with a 1.5" heel

Back height 15", front 15.5" approx

12" top opening, not stretched

These fit perfect in the calf, but are still a bit loose in the ankle...

No helping that as I have chicken ankles :"(

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. For those of you who have the same trouble as I in finding a pair of knee high boots fitting in the calf look no further. I was killing time recently in Brentwood Mall and popped by Ingledews Clearance store. I first spotted these and immediately tried them on. A perfect fit! I had wanted the thigh high version but could never find my size. They also had the SW almond toe pointed high heeled version, but not in my size. I did try on several pull up leather knee highs but all were loose in the calf(there were Cole Haan ones that were super comfy and had your usual high heel). I got these on sale for half off, they are on the expensive side but you do get what you pay for. The leather is butter soft and they are super comfy. These will be perfect with skirts, shorts, leggings and skinny jeans!
