Hand Lotions...

Shea Butter Hand Cream

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Again I`ve tested many, but have come back to Lòccitane. I`ve tried using this on my body, but you need to work it into the skin and by then your arm gets tired. The body lotion in the same scent, doesn`t cut it but the hand cream is amazing.

Picked up book 9 of the House of Night Series, and if you're into naughty reads I love Sylvia Day. (Thanks Tracy for introducing it, what have you done???)Warning it's not PG13, or for the faint of heart:) Swoon, gasp! Lol My fave reads from Sylvia are the Dream Guardian Series, can book 3 ever be made??

Other recommendations if you like naughty reads...check out PC Cast Goddess Series: Goddess of Light and Goddess of Spring are my two faves of the series.

Body Lotions...

Eminence Stone Crop Body Lotion

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. While I`ve tried everything under the sun, I`m not one to use lotion consistantly. I find most of the formulations take forever to absorb into the skin, or don't offer the long hours of moisturizing they claim. Nowadays I`ve given up on trying to keep my crocodile skin from flaking, it`s more for the scent, and if you can handle it reapply often.

Nuxe Multi-Usage Dry Oil

For Face, Body and Hair

Discovered this after reviews from Cafe Makeup

It delivers moisture, however I'm not a fan of the scent

Thankfully it disapates after it absorbs

Self tanner...

St. Tropez Mousse and applicator mitt

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Beautiful tan without the cancer. Loving the St. Tropez mousse for a nice color without the faux look. Have tried the lotion, and loved it but it`s a lot of work and can be hard to do on your own back. I prefer the mousse with the mitt for a seamless application in half the time of the lotion.

Previously loved the Fake Bake lotion, but since the formula changed it now delivers a streaky look.
I`ve also tried Jergens tanner for body and the face. The face didn`t give much color however the body in the medium dark gave color, but applied 2 days in a row gave an orange look.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Maintain your tan, and keep your skin soft and non scaly. Also helps with ingrown hair prevention.

Cake Desserted Island Creamy Body Buffer

I love anything that smells like cupcakes, vanilla, coconut, really anything good enough to eat!

The scent doesn't last very long, but while you're working away at the crocodile skin at least you can enjoy the scent.

My Verdict: You must try it before you decide. New Patisserie in Vancouver, going through 1,000 macarons/day. Good location, but pricey, eat in or take out. Paid $6.75 for a cup of corn soup, with the most amazing garlic crouton. Tried 6 macarons of the flavours they had that night, and my fave being the coconut.

Skinny patent belt in Marachino Cherry XS

This fits perfectly around the waist, and the red is vibrant. Not in love with the patent leather quality, as after wearing it once the back of the leather started to crack.

Skinny leather belt in Shocking Pink XS

This is a very versatile belt for casual and dressy. Fit can be worn as waist or low waist. Love the color, it's a pinky corol shade, and the leather is so soft and flexible.

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. Snatched these up when they had the additional 25% off.

Pass:

Skinny calf hair belt XS
Loved the width of the belt, but the buckle made it too casual. For the price even with the sale, it wasn't a keeper.

Factory skinny pony hair belt in SM

The width was too small, but the buckle was perfect. If it was a wider width and a smaller size it would have been a perfect waist belt!

I found both belt's hair got disheveled once you pass it through the buckle. My next calf hair belt must be less hairy, if that makes any sense. lol

Quest still continues for the leopard skinny belt. I love Ann Taylor's, but they don't ship to Canada.

Readers: Any luck finding an affordable leopard skinny belt?

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. If you haven`t noticed by now I love Lavender. It makes me so relaxed, and calm. Soothes the soul and my fave is lavender scented candles. I found this one at Vida spa, again an impulse buy that proved to be worth it!

My Verdict: Praiseworthy. I purchased my first rollerball as an impulse buy while at Vida Spa, and I'm glad I did because it works! Sweet Dreams, made from lavender, roman chamomile, and marjoram is good for insomnia, or those nights where you need to calm your mind and relax. I love it after a fitful night, or a stressful day.
I had the opportunity to make my own rollerball using essential oils. I named it fluffy pillows, lol. Smelling it reminded me of a huge bed, filled with goose down, fluffy pillows you could fall on and melt away.

The Blending Bar

Another custom blend was from Amy, yoga instructor and creator of custom blended cocktails. I chose the Gratitude Blend; essential oils of Jojoba, Lime, Geranium, Coriander, Rose, Neroli, Lavender and Basil. This scent makes me happy and gives an uplifting feeling.
